**Property reservations are officially open at all four of our camp locations through September 2027.**

Whether you're using your troop funds to plan a outdoor badge weekend at camp, or want to share camp with family and friends, now's the time to plan an outdoor adventure.

Planning your camp stay is simple. Reserve your lodge and our team will be in touch to help you create a memorable experience, including fun recreation add-ons like archery and campfire cookouts.

Please note: guided recreation opportunities are reduced in June-August due to the active summer camp season, so availability may be limited.

Who can reserve GCNWI camp properties?

Reservation Requirements

All Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana (GCNWI) troop leaders and members reserving property must:

Complete the Volunteer Basics Learning Path
Hold current First Aid/CPR certification
Complete any additional required outdoor trainings in GS Learn, based on the type of experience reserved

Non-Girl Scout groups are welcome to reserve our properties. Outside groups must provide a certificate of insurance (COI) prior to their reservation.

Important Information toggle arrow

GCNWI Members/Volunteers: Reservations remain tentative until required trainings are completed. Once trainings are completed and verified, the reservation will be approved.

First Aid and CPR training that includes specific instructions for adult and pediatric CPR, first aid, and AED training, that includes a face-to-face, hands-on skills assessment, is required for all reservations. This training can be taken through our council or through an acceptable organization as outlined here.
For all reservations, at least one adult with Cabin Camper and Fire Safety & Building gsLearn trainings are required.
For rustic camping reservations, one adult must complete the Rustic Camping and Outdoor Cooking gsLearn trainings and the in-person Outdoor Adult Training: Fire, Cooking, Rustic session.

Other Girl Scout Councils, Non-Profit Organizations, and For-Profit Organizations and Companies must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI).

Each reservation includes a $15 non-refundable processing fee in addition to the nightly fee for each site/unit. Fees subject to change.

Our camp properties will be closed in observance of the following national holidays:

January 1 (New Year's Day)
May 23-26 (Memorial Day weekend)
June 19 (Juneteenth)
July 4-6 (Independence Day)
August 29-September 1 (Labor Day weekend)
November 28-30 (Thanksgiving weekend)
December 19-January 1 (Winter Break)

Primitive sites will be closed from late fall through early spring. Check the property reservation website for accurate availability at each camp.
