Can I be a Girl Scout without Joining a Troop?
Yes, you can – and it’s called being a Juliette!
Juliettes are independent Girl Scouts who are not part of a troop. They make their own schedules, set their own goals, and build a personalized experience that’s all about them. Named after Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliettes dive into everything Girl Scouts has to offer.
As a Juliette, you call the shots—on your time and in your own way. Check out some of the ways you can participate!
Juliettes were named after Juliette Gordon Low who founded our movement in 1912.
Juliettes have the power to build their very own Girl Scout experience by earning badges, selling cookies, and attending council programs that appeal to their interests.
Juliettes can also participate in the Girl Scout tradition of community service through take action projects and earning the highest awards.
Plus, all of these progressive, exceptional experiences can be funded by participating in our annual Fall Product and Girl Scout Cookie Programs.
