Girl Scout volunteers inspire girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Each year, Girl Scouting formally recognizes Girl Scout adult members, volunteers, service units, staff, and community members for their service to the movement through a variety of awards.
Members are invited use to Adult Recognition Manual to learn about the awards available and identify the best way to recognize the accomplishments and outstanding service happening within our movement.
Adult Recognition is a group effort, and we can’t do it alone!
Awards to be presented include Formal Adult Recognitions (Appreciation, Honor, Thanks Badge I & II, Hall of Fame & DAISY), President’s Award for Service Units, Adult Years of Service (2022-2023 Membership Year) and The Pinnacle Award for Ambassador Girl Scouts.
Registration is required for all attendees.
Awardees: Free
Guests: $20
Unable to attend but would like to receive your award another way?
Please fill out the 2023 Award Pick Up/Mailing Request Form here.
The adult Recognition Committee is made up of volunteers from across the council. Members of the committee are available to come to your Service Unit meeting to explain awards, how to nominate someone and answer any questions your volunteers may have. Advanced notice is encouraged, and requests will be fulfilled dependent on availability of the committee.
To Request a committee member to visit your Service Unit, please email adultrecognition@girlscoutsgcnwi.org.
