Join the Girl Scout Go-Getters for the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon!
When you run with Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, you are empowering more than 32,000 girls! We have limited openings for individuals who are ready to grab their running shoes and fundraise on behalf of our girls. Each runner is asked to raise a minimum of $1,500 (if you apply before mid-November) or $2,100 between mid-November and March (or until our team is filled). APPLICATIOBN BELOW!
We will provide you with a personalized fundraising page and will be with you every step of the way to raise funds and run miles for the Girl Scouts!
When you run with the Girl Scout Go-Getters, you will receive:
- Guaranteed entry into the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon
- If you reach your fundraising goal we will refund your registration fee ($245)!
- Free virtual and in-person training options with Chicago Endurance Sports
- Official Girl Scout Go-Getters team running shirt
- Customizable fundraising page to help reach your goal
- Access to team events
- Access to Race Day Resort on race day (located next to start line with food, drinks, indoor restrooms)
- Fundraising prizes
This Chicago Marathon is one of six Abbott World Marathon Majors, and an experience of a lifetime! On October 12, 2025, runners from 50 states and more than 100 countries will travel through 27 neighborhoods on a flat and fast course that starts and finishes in Grant Park. More than 1.7 million spectators will line the course to cheer you on!

Join our team! When you run with Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, you are empowering more than 30,000 girls! We have limited openings for individuals who are ready to grab their running shoes and fundraise on behalf of our girls. We have three options to participate in:
- Half marathon (ages 14+) particpants are asked to raise a minimum of $750.
- 10K runner (age 13+) participants are asked to raise a minimum of $500.
- Junior Dash participants are asked to raise a minimum of $75.
Fundraising must be met by May 15. We will provide you with a personalized fundraising page and will be with you every step of the way to raise funds and run miles for the Girl Scouts!
When you join the Girl Scouts team, you will receive:
- Free entry into the 2024 Life Time Chicago Spring Half Marathon or 10K ($110 or $70 value)
- Discounted training options with Chicago Endurance Sports (TBC)
- Official Girl Scout GCNWI team running shirt
- Customizable fundraising page to help reach your goal
