Nuclear Energy Information Service (NEIS) At the Nuclear Energy Information Service (NEIS) booth, you will get to experience a short animation & interactive game exploring nuclear energy and climate change.
Shedd Aquarium At this booth, you will try on waders, pull "samples" from the stream, and identify the species you find! There will be plankton to examine under the microscope and microplastics to talk about the issue of plastics and how we can keep it out of our waterways. 
You will also get a chance to use collected cardboard pieces and t-shirt yarn made from old program t-shirts to create bookmarks. 
There will also be plastic pollution action guide cards and program information available for all participants!

Speaker Description
Jan Davis Jan Davis, retired NASA Astronaut, will be sharing with us her experience in outer space and the challenges faced by women scientists.
Katie Kalusky Katie Kalusky, with the Illinois Green Alliance, will be hosting a panel discussion on the worldwide green building certification program LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
Rich Cohen Rich Cohen will be presenting on composting, an eco-friendly way to divert food scraps from landfills.
Suzanne Le Mignot Suzanne Le Mignot serves as CBS 2 Chicago’s weekend news morning anchor and weekday reporter and will MC the event!
The Chicago Park District, Friends of the Chicago River, Forest Preserves, The Nature Conservancy, and the Indiana Dunes These organizations are teaming up to present on taking action in nature through connection, discovery, and stewardship.
