It’s in Girl Scouts’ DNA. Our founder, Juliette Gordon Low, was a famous lover of nature. Today, Girl Scouts honors her legacy by promoting respect and love of the great outdoors far and wide.

Go Green 4 Good Mini Patches
Collect these fun mini patches when you help the environment from home.
Earn mini patches when you build your own pollinator habitat or learn how to recycle and more! There are nine mini patches to choose from – or collect all nine for a special price of $4!
Take action by changing habits at home, in your community and in the world.
Food Waste Challenge with Seven Generations Ahead
In this activity, you will learn about the problem of food waste, conduct a food waste audit in your own home, and learn about ways to reduce food waste. This activity is for Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (Grades 4-12) and may be used to earn the Planet Saver patch.

When each of us does our part to save electricity and water at home, together we can make a difference in reducing our carbon footprint! To earn this Save Our Energy action patch, you will complete several activities that focus on what actions you can take individually to slow climate change.
