Financial Assistance

We are committed to ensuring all girls have the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts. To remove financial barriers that may interfere, we offer limited funds to help members who would be unable to join in Girl Scout activities without financial support. Troops are encouraged to facilitate girl-led financial planning for their activities which can include Fall Product and Cookie Program sales, and money earning activities.

Girl members and Adult volunteers can request support for GSUSA membership registration fees. In addition, only parents or guardians can request financial assistance for girl members in the following areas.

Troop dues-once per membership year.
Uniform Essentials-once per level.
Council sponsored program. Maximum 2 times per year.
Council-sponsored summer camp; day camp/overnight camp - One application in this category will be approved per membership year.

To request financial assistance (FA) for membership registration click on request aid on the registration payment page. The approval will be completed within two working days .
This covers one year of membership (October 1-September 30) and is available for girls and adult volunteers to join as members of Girl Scouts. To request financial assistance for membership registration click "Get Started" below and select financial assistance once you are on the payment page.

Destination Scholarship is only available to girls who have been accepted to a GSUSA Destination and are able to show proof.

To request financial assistance, register for the event, select “use payment plan” box for each registrant. A minimum deposit must be paid on program registration before applying for program financial assistance.

Camp

This includes either one day or resident camp session fee (per summer per person). Girls must be registered for camp before applying for financial assistance.

Applications are accepted annually from February 1 until June 1 for up to 30% ($400 maximum) off one camp session (per girl per summer).

Application is closed for the season.
