All Girl Scouts GCNWI Service Unit (SU) Team Members are invited to join us for a day of volunteer development.

At this event you will learn strategies and come away inspired to provide an excellent experience to as many girls, families, and volunteers as possible in your community! Recharge with your team, connect with old friends, and make some new ones with SU team members from across our council.

First and second-year Daisy troop leaders are invited to a day of fun training and enrichment to help you grow girls of courage, confidence, and character!

Leader Enrichment Activity Program (LEAP) is a program for adult volunteers who work with girls in Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana.

This weekend will give you hands-on experience in activities related to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Workshop options include:

  • Archery
  • Outdoor cooking and outdoor skills
  • Crafts
  • Nature games
  • Hiking
  • Service projects
  • STEM activities
  • Challenge yourself on the new climbing tower/zipline or high ropes adventure course
  • An offsite trip to the Indiana Dunes National Park and Meadowbrook Nature Preserve.

Full Weekend Cost: $52 includes meals and snacks, sleeping accommodations, and some workshop supplies.

Saturday Only Cost: $37 includes meals/snacks and some workshop supplies.

Registration closes September 8, 2019 or when the maximum of 110 participants has been reached. Limited financial aid is available. Due to limits on instructor/participant ratios, some popular sessions will fill before the deadline. Register early for best workshop selection.

This annual event brings together volunteers and troop leaders from across greater Chicago and Northweset Indiana. Attendees will receive insights and resources needed to be successful in their membership year and beyond, so you can continue to make a difference in the lives of girls.
