Camp and Outdoor Programs
For more than 100 years, Girl Scout camp has brought girls outdoor
adventures full of learning, challenges, a whole lot of friendship,
and tons of fun. This happens through a community—each girl who comes
to camp is welcomed into a group of girls who together can:
- Discover their ability to better solve problems and overcome
- Develop leadership skills, build social bonds, and become team players.
- Increase their level of overall happiness and gratitude, and care for the environment.
Days playing in the sun (and rain!) and nights singing around a campfire build memories, skills, and friendships that keep girls going strong through the challenges they face when they return to "the real world."
Whether they attend Girl Scout camp for a day, a week, or longer, girls are given first-rate opportunities to learn and explore, expand their horizons, and have unforgettable fun with friends old and new—all under the guidance of caring, trained adults committed to helping them unleash their remarkable leadership potential.

Ways to Camp
Our camp properties are open year-round! During this time, short, two-hour, in person programming is offered throughout the year. This short programming is done in small groups and in the outdoors with health and safety in mind. These programs offer troops and families an opportunity to join in the fun of the outdoors.
Summer day camp is a great way to introduce girls to the camping world. Day camp programs run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Transportation and before and after camp care are also available at select locations. Come out to laugh and play all summer long!
Summer resident camp is a wonderful place to get more acquainted with the outdoors and give girls unique summer camp experiences. Girls can come to camp for three days, a week, or longer. Choose the experience that is best for you and join us for tons of fun!
Troops can plan their own outdoor getaways for a day, overnight, or weekend at one of our camp properties. Need a meeting place? Rent a site at one of our GSGCNWI owned properties for your troop or group!
