IMPORTANT CAMP INFORMATION (PLEASE READ!)

March 1, 2022

Today marks the first day of summer camp registration, and it was a whirlwind of activity!

We hear and understand your concerns and frustration that more spots are not open yet. We certainly wish we could open all the spots at once for every girl who wants to come to camp.

However, we also must manage the appropriate ratio of girls to staff. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to release openings in the weeks ahead, dependent on the hiring of additional camp counselors and other staff needed to operate a safe summer camp program. It is our top priority.

We would welcome your assistance with referrals! Please share our summer camp staff positions with all the college students and other young adults in your life. Hiring staff has been challenging in the current market, even though we know that young Girl Scout alums on break from college over the summer are a perfect fit.

As we continue to recruit and hire more summer staff, we will open more program spots to address the waitlists. We will prioritize girls who have not been able to register for any camp sessions so that as many girls as possible can benefit. Families with girls on the waitlist can expect to be notified by email within the next few weeks regarding their waitlist status.

Again, we appreciate your enthusiasm and patience, and your referrals for camp staff!

Participate in an outdoor adventure full of learning, opportunities for challenge, a whole lot of friendship, and tons of fun. The camp community fosters experiences where every camper is welcomed, and together with other campers, staff, and volunteers can:

  • Discover their ability to better solve problems and overcome challenges.
  • Develop leadership skills, build social bonds, and become team players.
  • Increase their level of overall happiness and gratitude through social and environmental focused programming.

Individual campers, Girl Scout troops, or other outdoor-inspired groups can choose to participate in a huge variety of camp offerings, locations, and program lengths.

Ways to Camp

Troop, Group, and Family Camp Programs

Our camp properties are open year-round! During this time, short, two-hour, in person programming is offered throughout the year. This short programming is done in small groups and in the outdoors with health and safety in mind. These programs offer troops and families an opportunity to join in the fun of the outdoors.
