Annual Fund- from developing new programming to innovative volunteer support, the annual fund support helps GSGCNWI direct resources to projects where they are needed most to fulfill the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience outcomes for girls.
Community Outreach- a contribution to GirlSpace ensures that girls who would not otherwise have the opportunity to be Girl Scouts are able to participate in programming that could change their lives. Annually, GirlSpace impacts nearly 5,000 at-risk girls ages 5-17. The staff-facilitated program increases girls’ chances for success in school and in life by providing supplemental learning opportunities. GirlSpace partners with schools and other community sites in some of the council’s most challenged neighborhoods and delivers programming in the following areas: STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), financial literacy and healthy living/anti-bullying.
Camp Improvements- invests in camp properties that enhance girls’ experiences. You can designate your gift to improve a particular project or property.
Campership- send girls to resident camp each summer so they have an opportunity to develop an appreciation of the outdoors, make new friends and try new things.
Family Partnership- Family Partnership is an annual campaign for families to support our local Girl Scout council. You can contribute to the successful future and impact the Girl Scout experience for your daughter, neighbor, or for a girl in one of our 245 communities. Your gift to Famiy Partnership is an investment in your community; 100% of your donation to Family Partnership stays within our council to support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. These funds support programs for girls, beautiful camp properties, financial assistance, retail shops and program centers, and valued training and resources for new and experienced volunteers.
$500 or more can change a life by providing an entire year’s worth of Girl Scouting to a girl residing in one of our 245 communities.
$250 can provide a girl with the much needed leadership and inspiration to achieve her Gold Award.
$100 can provide a girl with a week of day camp and a lifetime of Girl Scout memories.
$50 can provide a girl with her very own Girl Scout essentials; a sash or vest, troop numerals, pins and Girls Guide to Girl Scouting.
$20 gives a girl an opportunity to explore a program.
