January Regional Service Unit Meetings

The regional service unit meeting in Merrillville on Jan. 17 has been canceled due to low enrollment. We encourage you to attend one of the other regional service unit managers meetings that are being offered in January:

Please note that no matter where you live or what region you cover, you can attend ANY of these meetings and receive the same information.

Announcing new recognition tool!

Have you ever wished for a special certificate for a person or group or business that supports Girl Scouts?  We have too!  We have created a new certificate exactly for that purpose!  All you need to do is fill in the name and print!  No nominations or approvals are needed.  Click here for the certificate.

The 100th Anniversary gives us a wonderful opportunity to recognize those who support Girl Scouting.  This is an excellent way to recognize your troop/group sponsor, a church or school that provides your meeting place, the business that is your cookie delivery site, just to name a few!

You will find this certificate in the "Forms and Resources" section.  Look for “Appreciation Certificate”. Remember: This form can be saved to your computer for future reference.

Service Team Training

This summer and early fall, the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana is offering training for new service team members. Trainings for service unit manager, membership organizer, and membership consultant will be offered as face to face training sessions in each region in July and September.
