There's never been a better time to reconnect to Girl Scouts!

This year we are celebrating our 100th anniversary, inviting everyone who is, and ever was, a Girl Scout to join our Girl Scout Alumnae Association.

As a Girl Scout alumna, you will belong to one of the largest, most diverse and potentially most powerful networks of women. Rediscover and reconnect with Girl Scouts. Stand up and be counted as we join together to inspire the next generation of women leaders, the girls of today who are just learning about this timeless organization.

Promise circles and other anniversary events

Join us for our anniversary special events, especially our Promise Circles on March 12, 2012. The Promise Circles are local, grassroots events being held simulataneously across our 245 communities. Join us at 19:12 military time (7:12 p.m.) as we form circles to recite the Girl Scout Promise and Law, sing our favorite songs and share stories.

Wear a green ribbon on your lapel during Girl Scout Week, March 11 - 17, 2012, and join with thousands of other alumnae and current Girl Scouts who are anxious to share stories with you.

For many former girl members and adult volunteers, it has been a few years since they attended a Girl Scout troop meeting or roasted the "perfect marshmallow" for a S'more. Whether you were a Girl Scout five or fifty years ago, now is the time to reconnect to the organization that inspired your wonderful memories and became part of your life story.

You know how much fun Girl Scouts is … how important the friendships are … and how much can be learned. As an adult volunteer, you've watched giggly girls grow and mature into young women leading rewarding lives and making the world around them better.
