Make a difference by doing. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is observed on the third Monday of each January, and is the only Federal holiday designated as a Day of Service.
This day honors and continues the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and is a day to give back to have your actions speak louder.

Spend your morning at a celebration of family, food and service projects. You will have an opportunity to assemble an assortment of care packages and write messages of hope, all to be distributed to the less fortunate. Other interactive activities include coloring, pod cast interviews capturing individual experiences throughout the day, MLK Jeopardy, and a Wall of Dreams, in which you can write down your dreams for improving our communities and country.
