What is it the Girl Scout Go-Getter Virtual Race?

The first-ever Girl Scout Go-Getters virtual “race”! Choose your distance and your pace! 100% of the proceeds will directly help girls and families in our council through financial assistance for membership, troop activities, and virtual programs. You can complete your own race, on your own time, outside or on a treadmill.

When is it?

October 5-11, to coincide with the virtual Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Run/walk any time during that week and post on our Facebook event page using the hashtag #GSGoGetters2020 to show others what you’re doing and encourage them to join!

How can I participate?

Register to participate today! The cost of registration is $35, which will count towards the overall fundraising goal you set. Want to support our efforts, but don’t have the time to run or walk? You can make an outright donation of your choosing!

Want to turn your passion into action by helping us reach our fundraising goal of $2,500?

Set up your own fundraising page and ask your family and friends to support you! Your $35 registration fee will go towards your fundraising goal of $100. If you raise $100 or more by September 30, you will receive a Girl Scout Go-Getters T-Shirt! We’ll provide you with a toolkit to challenge your friends via email and social media to donate to your page!

When you register, select that you would like to create a fundraising page and you will be sent instructions on how to do so!
