Announcing new feature: Volunteer Spotlight
The Adult Recognitions Task Group announces a new feature in our council recognition program, a volunteer spotlight! At least once a month, we will give a short profile of one or more of our valuable volunteers.

Theresa O'Shea
Theresa O’Shea volunteers lots of time to Girl Scouting, but is most proud of being a Council Trainer. She not only facilitates far more trainings than expected, but also steps in when other trainers are not available so that classes do not get canceled. During a shortage of First Aid/CPR trainers in the South Region, she stepped up to become a certified Red Cross trainer herself, which helped to increase the number of classes available.
Thank you, Theresa, for your support of girls and the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
If you would like to suggest a volunteer for the Volunteer Spotlight feature, send a brief description of the volunteer’s service and a photo, if possible, to AdultRecognition@girlscoutsgcnwi.org.
