Volunteering Opportunities for all schedules
With Girl Scouts, our volunteers have various options from which they can choose. You can be a part of one or several pathways as a volunteer. Join us today to help build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
EVENTS VOLUNTEER
We have many volunteers who may not have the time to devote to leading a troop but still wish to facilitate leadership activities for girls. Become a member of Girl Scouts as an event volunteer and you can choose to lead as many events as you like for girls of all age groups.
SERIES VOLUNTEERS
Many of our Girl Scouts have busy lives and still want to experience our themed leadership programs. Our series pathway provides a flexible option for girls and adults. Become a member and you can support a three- to six-week program on themes related to media, leadership, friendships, STEM, and many others! Our series pathway allows our volunteers the flexibility to help girls build leadership skills within a busy schedule.
LEADING A TROOP
Volunteers can be a troop leader, co-leader or parent helper for a troop. Troops are led by two, unrelated adults for any grade level. For more information on becoming a troop leader, click here.
CAMP VOLUNTEER
Girl Scouts of all ages enjoy the great outdoors through our camp pathway. Become a Girl Scout volunteer and lead girls in camp journeys outdoors and at Journey World.
OTHER VOLUNTEERING OPTIONS
Become a trainer for other adults, join a team to help with special events, be part of the council governance, become a board member, help raise funds, help girls working toward awards, and so much more.
