Leader Enrichment

LEAP

LEAP is an acronym for Leader Enrichment Activity Program. Each fall since 1987, the Leader Enrichment Activity Program has taken place at a Girl Scout council camp. It is a weekend of learning and fun for Girl Scout adults. The event is held each fall.

Join us for more than 35 workshops that include canoeing, archery, outdoor cooking, crafts, nature, hikes, and, off-site trips. Discover more about the new Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting and Girl Scout Journeys. Learn new skills and ideas to take back to your girls.

Participants have the option to spend the weekend or just attend workshops on Saturday. Sleeping accommodations include platform tents outdoors, yurts or cabins indoors. A late-night gathering spot is available for those who want to catch up with friends until the wee hours of the morning.

Meals are served cafeteria style in the dining hall with the exception of Saturday lunch. You have a choice to attend an indoor or outdoor cooking class or make your own bag lunch before departing for your off-site field trip or in-camp activity.
