Journeys that Encourage Every Girl to Choose Her Own Path:


 Resident Camp is a wonderful opportunity for girls to explore a path full of opportunities available only with the Girl Scouts. Programs will be offered during the summer of 2010 at:

  • Camp Butternut Springs, Valparaiso, IN
  • Camp Juniper Knoll, East Troy, WI
  • Camp Pokanoka, Ottawa, IL

Registration opens Monday, March 1, 2010.

Registration is easy and there are multiple options.

  1. Register online. Your registration process is quick and you’ll know immediately if there is space in your camper’s desired session.
  2. Download an application and return it to any regional service center or mail it to Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana; Attn: Summer Camp Registration; 2400 Ogden Ave, Suite 400; Lisle, IL 60532

Open houses provide a great opportunity for families to have a tour and if the day is nice, plan to bring a picnic!

  • Camp Butternut Springs - Sunday, May 23, 2010

    *Camp River Trails and Camp Pokanoka are approximately 20 minutes apart; consider visiting both, directions between camps will be available!
