Camp Outdoor Recreational Experience
Choose your next adventure while visiting our properties. Below you will find a list of recreational opportunities to suit your every need. Services are currently limited and must be booked in advance with the property registrar. The recreation services manager will contact you with the availability of services.

Staff-Facilitated Activities
Learn National Archery Association essentials of equipment and bow handling, including shooting targets successfully and consistently. End with a special contest of archery skill to prove what you know.
Available: Butternut Springs, Greene Wood, Juniper Knoll, River Trails
Ages: Junior Level & Up
Length: 1.5 hours
Cost: $4 girl scouts/$6 for non-profits/$8 for others
Learn the essential strokes of paddling your canoe with a partner. Learn how to right a tipped canoe and how to stay afloat and calm. Take your canoe out for a trip across the lake. Canoeing at River Trails requires 4 week advance notice to allow for permit processing. Pre-requisite: Water Safety and Tip Test.

Ages: Brownie Level & Up
Length: 2.0 hours
Cost: $4 girl scouts/$6 for non-profits/$8 for others
Enjoy an afternoon of picking out your own handmade ceramic piece, choosing a handful of color to paint it, and being able to take home a beautiful handmade craft. The possibilities are endless just like your imagination.

Ages: Daisy Level & Up
Length: 1.0 – 1.5 hours
Cost: $5 girl scouts/$7.50 for non-profits/$10 for all others
(Not available June 1 - August 1)
Brush up on your campfire songs as you journey around property old fashion style in the back of a hay ride. Food service can have hot apple cider and smore’s waiting for your troop when the journey ends. A camp fire after the hayride would be a nice thing your group could do on your own.

Length: 1.0 hour
Cost: $3 girl scouts/$5 for non-profits/$6 for all others
Learn the basics of rowing your boat with a partner. Learn how to handle a tipped boat and how to stay afloat and calm. Take your boat out for a trip across the lake.

Ages: Junior Level & Up
Length: 1.0 hour
Cost: $2 girl scouts/$3 for non-profits/$4 for all others
Available during the summer months cool off and relax in our swimming pools. Pool toys and a lifeguard are provided with your reservation.

Length: billed per two hours
Cost: $6 girl scouts/$9 for non-profits/$12 for all others
Staff Launched
These activities need to have a staff facilitator to launch the activity ensuring participants are outfitted with equipment properly. Then you are on your own to have fun. Equipment rental fees apply.

*Must have a minimum of 15 participants

Self-Guided Activities and Facilities
These activities/facilities are free with your reservation. These activities are on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis.

Fitness Track/Dyna-Track – Butternut Springs, Happy Hollow
Hiking – available at all camps
Mini-golf – Pokanoka, Wild Rose
Outdoor Theater – Meadowbrook, Pokanoka, Wild Rose
