Food Service Options at Camp

We know how important choices and options are to you, so to help provide you and your group an excellent experience, we are proud to offer three choices when it comes to your food service needs:

Option One: Do you own. That’s right, most of our lodges have kitchens in the buildings. Sometimes the meal preparation and clean up is a part of your program, and we want to be supportive of that experience. Just sign the food service waiver, and you are free to use our kitchens at no additional charge in most cases.

Option Two: We shop for you. Sometimes running around shopping for groceries right before camp is inconvenient. With prior arrangement at the time of your reservation, we can do all the food shopping for you and have the items locked away in storage bins in our walk-in coolers or freezer with your group's name on the bin. All your food items (including condiments) will be in the bin, waiting for your arrival. Just pick up the bin and you’re ready to start food preparation. Please see our food service menu for details.

Option Three: We provide full food service. That’s right, we will make it, bake it and take it. There are menu options you can choose from, and we will prepare, serve and clean the dishes. All we ask is that you help clean up the tables, chairs and dining areas. If you prefer family-style meal service, we can accommodate that in some of our properties provided that you supply the hoppers (service waiters). Please see our food service menu for details.

For more information, please contact our camp registrar, Celeste Adams Holecek, 312.416.2500, ext. 226. You may also sign up when you fill out your site rental application.
