Imagine this – an entire arena filled with Girl Scouts and their families – all wearing a Girl Scout Shirt . . . Awesome! Join Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana for a great new event that has the potential to be the largest gathering of girls from our entire council area to date!
The Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, is the place to be on Saturday, January 2, 2010, as we kick off the 2010 Girl Scout Cookie Program TOGETHER. Let's pack the house at the Allstate Arena with a sea of Girl Scouts of all ages as we kick off the Girl Scout Cookie Season! There's room for 10,000 of your closest friends at this area-wide destination -- there's no better way to meet new Girl Scout friends and their families.
There are tons of exciting activities for the girls -- everything from face painting, pictures with Tony the Tiger, Ernie the Elf and Skates the Wolf to booths that help girls understand all the details they need to know about the Girl Scout Cookie Program. What more could you ask for?
Take part in this first-of-its-kind event and be a part of history in the making. The more people we have, the more visibility we can give to the kickoff of the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Everyone will know it's cookie time in Illinois and Indiana.
All Girl Scouts, their families and friends are invited. Leaders, even if you can't attend, please forward this to the parents of the girls in your troop so it can become a holiday break family outing before everyone heads back to school.
When the doors open at 2:45 p.m., Girl Scouts will have a great time discovering and experiencing all the activities related to the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Have a blast by visiting the many activity booths.
Next, the Fun Festival begins at 4:45 p.m. Stop by the Festival, where face painting and games will keep the stadium rocking! Last, but not least, enjoy the Chicago Wolves game that kicks off at 7 p.m. Witness the Chicago Wolves hand the Peoria Rivermen a loss that they won't soon forget during a wonderful evening that serves as the backdrop for a perfect family or troop outing.
Where can you find this much fun and excitement for only $12 per person? Food vouchers are also available for $4. Everyone who registers will receive a Cookie Time T-Shirt!
Be one of the first 10,000 applicants by sending in your registration now. What a deal! What fun! See you there!
NOTICE – Peanut products are present in the Allstate Arena. If you have peanut allergies please take precaution.
