Earn your way to Day or Resident Camp!

Girls may choose Camp Credits instead of Incentive Items! This year girls are offered the opportunity to earn credit to pay for their Council-Sponsored camp experience. Girls may choose to attend any of the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana Day or Resident Camp Programs and use their camp credits as partial or full payment.

Every year hundreds of girls reach beyond their normal lives and discover the exciting world around them through camping experiences. Camp activities such as drama, science, sports, swimming and arts allow girls to use their imagination and inventiveness to more freely express themselves.

Creating skits, singing around the campfire, and making new friends provide young girls opportunities to express themselves in a non-threatening, nurturing environment!

Girls may choose from basic camp experience, crafts, nature study, outdoor skills, cookouts, campfires, hiking, songs, games, team building skills and swimming.

Many sessions offer special activities in addition to the basic camp program while others are designed for certain ages or experience levels. Opportunities are provided for girls to work on a wide variety of try-it, badge and interest project requirements. Sessions fill quickly.

If you choose this plan, register as soon as the Day and Resident Camp Brochure allows. To register complete the camp application and mail it with your camp credit certificate with your other method of payment to the address printed in the Camp Brochure.

Do not wait for your Camp Credit certificate to register for camp. Earning Camp Credit does not guarantee you a spot at Day or Resident Camp. Camp Credit certificates may not be refunded for cash or exchanged for incentive items.

Troop Incentive

Each girl in the troop will receive the Theme T-Shirt IF the troop initial order is placed by January 24 (including order card orders and/or pre-site sale orders) AND the Per Girl Average (PGA) is 125 or greater. The Troop Incentive is in addition to the individual girl incentive plan.
