Fall Product Program

Join us by participating in the 2009-2010 Fall Product Program and "Unlock the Mystery". In this section you will find:

Why should troops participate in the Product Programs?

Earn money to pay for troop activities

Girl Scouts should be financially self sufficient and earn enough money to pay for their troop activities and expenses from the dollars they earn in product programs. During financial challenging times, the time has come to stop asking “the bank of mom and dad” to support the troop’s activities. Girls must learn to live within their own means and take action to support their goals.

  • Self esteem
  • Teamwork
  • ETC...

Money earned by the girls supports girl programs, provides assistance to girls in need of financial assistance and provides support to volunteers.

Money earned by product programs supports direct and indirect costs . . . council events for girls, program subsidies, facility maintenance, material production, property maintenance and upgrades, insurance, financial assistance, training, resource development, recognitions, communications, and camp programs and much more.

Participation in Product Program is a girl decision...

Let the girls decide what they want to do and how they will do it. Through the planning process girls learn to calculate and achieve their personal and troop goals and gain ownership of their decisions. Decision making is a very important life skill for girls of all ages. Let the girls decide.
