Work With Adults

Many opportunities exist in Girl Scouting for adults who want to interact with other adults. There are endless ways to volunteer in your local community, other locations or even the Girl Scout regional service centers:
Long-term Opportunities
- Provide leadership at a local level so services get delivered to girls
- Guide adults through new learning opportunities as a facilitator/trainer
- Coach new volunteers so they feel comfortable in their roles
- Recruit new volunteers, especially leaders
- Consult with volunteers working with girls in various grade levels to approve forms and offer suggestions
Short-term Opportunities
- Serve as a task group member
- Be an ambassador for our Family Partnership campaign
- Volunteer to help with phone-a-thons
- Assist with grant applications
- Translate materials into languages other than English
These are just a few of the many ways volunteers can participate in Girl Scouts. Not sure which type of volunteer role is right for you? Just contact us and we'll help guide you into the role that fits your needs. For more information about becoming a volunteer, please fill out the online adult interest form.
