Girl Scouts

For nearly 100 years, girls of all ages have enjoyed the many benefits of being a Girl Scout. They make new friends and learn to relate to others, participate in myriad activities that may focus science or math, healthy eating habits, community service, the arts, the environment, and much more.

Overall, the Girl Scout program focuses on providing an exciting leadership development experience for girls in which they combine fun activities with opportunities to learn new skills and assume age-appropriate leadership roles. Girls may join and participate in a variety of ways, including as members of a troop or group, as individuals, as participants in camp or other summer activities, and a variety of other options.

The Girl Scout program is girl-driven, reflecting the ever-changing needs and interests of today’s girls. Read more about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and the national outcomes or benefits upon which our evolving program is based.
